Before you do anything

Hiring a REALTOR to assist you in buying a home is at NO COST to you! The seller pays the commission! So why not take advantage of having someone, who knows the ins and outs of the market, the paperwork and the real estate laws, assist you in buying!

Interview Real Estate Agents

Ask questions....the more thorough the agent's answers, the more thorough they will be throughout the rest of the buying process.

Contact a Lender to get Pre-Approved

A lender (Bank or Mortgage Company) will be able to give you your credit score and let you know whether you are eligible  to get a loan or not.  If you are not, they will work with you to raise your credit score to get you pre-approved.  Once pre-approved, you will know an estimated amount of what you are approved for, and what price range to look for in your search for your dream home.

Make a List

What are some necessities that you need in your home?  (number of beds and baths,  1st floor master, garage, fenced in yard, low maintenance, acreage, etc...) Make your list and present it to your real estate agent.

Start Your Search

Once you have given your agent the search criteria, they will start sending you different properties on the market. Keep up to date with those! Also, check online. We offer an online search that allows you to view all real estate for sale in Indiana and Kentucky at  Feel free to start your search today!
